Rosalie Hall is a welcoming, community-based
agency for pregnant and parenting young women and their
families. It is staffed by caring and dedicated individuals,
including many who were helped by the Rosalie Hall program
themselves. The program is compromised of a residence for
pregnant teens and community based services for families in
need.

"There is no teacher like experience." |

"I was an unwed mother. At Rosalie Hall I
discovered the strength and tools to move my life
into a positive direction. Now I share what I
learned with other young women and they respond
because they see that I know where they are coming
from."

"We give our full support and understanding." |
| |
When young mothers come to us they are faced with
decisions that will shape the rest of their lives.
Where will I live? Where will I work? How can I
care for my child? At Rosalie Hall, we're here to
help them, not judge them. Whatever they decide,
we give
our full support and understanding.

"Learning is a two way street." |
| |
Every young woman who comes to us is looking for
help and guidance, and we give
it to them. But they also teach us the best ways
to help them. And we take that learning, digest it
and use it when we help other women. Relationships
at Rosalie Hall
are a two way street.

We at Rosalie Hall are
great believers of theories of attachment.
One of the attachment theorists, John Bowlby
summarizes how we
approach things at Rosalie Hall.

"The more we can give
young people opportunities and meet with and observe
first hand how sensitive caring parents treat their
offspring, the more likely they are to follow suit.
To learn from such parents about the difficulties they
meet with and the rewards they obtain, and to discuss
with them both their mistakes and their successes, are
worth, I believe hundreds of instructional talks."
