Rosalie Hall is a voluntary
not-for-profit corporation, sponsored by the Archdiocese of
New York. Rosalie Hall conducts its policies and practices in accordance
with ethical and religious teachings of the Roman Catholic
Church as promulgated by the Archbishop of New York.
Rosalie Hall was founded in 1887 by the Misericordia Sisters
who continue to promote and support its activities and
programs. The Misericordia Sisters are committed to providing
services with "compassion of the heart to those most in need."
The Mission of Rosalie Hall is to continue the healing
ministry of Jesus Christ by commitment to compassionate care through
programs which:
- Offer prenatal and residential prenatal care to
pregnant women, and provide supportive services to families in
the community.
- Promote strong decision making among adolescents and
young adults through empowering educational programs in the
residence, local schools, and community agencies.
- Assist fathers in responsible parenting.
Rosalie Hall is committed to respecting the ethnic, cultural
and religious diversity of its personnel and the persons
served. Rosalie Hall and the Misericordia Sisters promote the
dignity of all human life by helping them experience God's
